Outside Springburn residence, suddenly looked up and this giant tree profile fascinated me. It was such a tall majestic tree on the sidewalk by itself rising past the electrical cables, I couldn’t fit all of it in the pic.

A short drive up the hill nearby and I know, hard to believe eh, but this is typical autumn on the island. Wild green grass, lush foliage overlooking the blue mountain tops, and a vast expanse of terrain in the distance. Spectacular at night.

Early morning view from my balcony in the grove, breathtaking with all the greenery, showers in the night, trees seemingly touching the sky, and empty parking spaces of neighbours who made it out bright and early before the rest of us!

December Photo Project 2012
